Delivery & Pickup

At Paws Adoption Center, we strive to make the adoption and rehoming process as smooth and accessible as possible. We offer flexible pickup and local delivery options to ensure the safety and comfort of both pets and families.

Pet Pickup

Adopters may schedule a convenient time to pick up their new companion from our facility. All pets will be ready to go home with:

Completed veterinary checkups
Up-to-date vaccinations and preventatives
Health records and adoption paperwork
Starter supplies, if applicable

Post-Adoption Commitments

Adopters agree to:

Provide humane care, including appropriate food, water, shelter, exercise, and veterinary attention.
Keep the adopted animal as a companion and not use it for breeding, research, or resale.
Comply with all local, state, and federal animal welfare laws.
Return the animal to Paws Adoption Center if unable to continue care; rehoming without our written consent is strictly prohibited.

Return and Refund Policy

At Paws Adoption Center, our goal is to ensure the lifelong well-being of every animal we place. We understand that sometimes, despite the best intentions, an adoption may not be the right fit.

Returns

If you are unable to continue caring for an adopted pet, we ask that you contact us immediately. We will work with you to arrange a safe return of the animal. Returns are accepted within [X] days of adoption, subject to space and resource availability. After this period, returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds

Adoption fees are generally non-refundable, as they go directly toward the care, medical treatment, and sheltering of animals. In rare cases where a return is due to unforeseen medical or behavioral issues not disclosed at the time of adoption, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion.

Special Considerations

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and include relevant details. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 10–14 business days.
